Wells for Zoë is a small Irish humanitarian organisation. We are focused on bringing clean water to the rural poor in Northern Malawi. Set up in 2005, Wells for Zoë concentrates on low cost, small scale, appropriate and sustainable water technology.
We are also involved in meeting other needs of the people we work with:
Like irrigation, seed and seedling production, education of farmers, preschool and orphan care, A birthing centre, adult education, education for girls and tree planting
Promote water storage in its many forms, by advising on simple technologies, in association with local Government staff, and providing low cost credit (or grants, when there is no other way forward);
We manufacture pumps, at a small factory in Mzuzu;
We promote the use of alternative inexpensive irrigation methods and a better range of crops;
